I experimentally investigate ways to enhance light-matter interactions at the nanoscale. In particular, my group develops DNA templated fabrication techniques to produce optical antennas with controlled chemical environments. Optical antennas are used for applications ranging from quantum optics (to optimize single photon sources) to sensing (Raman scattering or plasmon rulers).
